  • The original story indicated she killed them around 0200, when the SWAT team arrived, and then said they didn't enter the house till 0740. If that is not the case then, I stand corrected.

  • Stand by my comment. They quickly would have found out there were others in house & yet they just wait (hear shots, etc.) and then go in hours later (just like at Columbine).

  • I bet the other victims were waiting on the brave SWAT officers to rescue them. Must have been a bummer to be killed as they (the SWAT Team) waited for everyone to be dead before rushing in hours later. I guess they don't get paid for putting their lives in any kind of danger...

  • Must agree with another poster or three: Women are so whacky! Sure love em though. Sad that many feel/know they are being judged by others who (I guess) appear more fit, etc.

  • English people back in that day (1920s and older) seemed to think that amateurism was a positive point in and of itself (see Scott at South Pole for other examples of amateurism gone amok). I think Mr. Irvine was chosen because he was a strong, young man who was prepared to go up there.

  • Irvine was supposed to have found back in the 70s by a PRC squad of climbers. Years later, one of them told a Western climber about finding an 'English dead' sitting against a ledge on a cliff face. He said that when they touched his clothes, they disintergrated.

  • They won't lose this year.  Maya Moore is better than Tina Charles, IMO.  I hope their early schedule is brutal (with a game against UT) so if they beat the 88 game record, you can say they played them all.
